The day we have been waiting for and the motive for this trip! Its the photo-shooting day! Well, we were told to be at the bridal studio at 7am, and we have got to be awake by 5am. Was worried the night before so we got ourselves "chicken essence" to perk ourselves up in the morning. Luckily we got up on time and head over to Ivy Bride. The weather's good!! Couldn't remember the exact timing but its roughly there.. hehe
The timetable for the day as at 17th March 2009 (Tuesday):
7am: Reached Ivy Bride with a fresh look
7.15am: Makeup and hairstyling starts. Ampoules, pedicure were all done.
8am: The first gown and suit worn for indoor shots.
8.30am: First encounter with indoor photo-shots and i guess it's nervous in us. Gotten many poses and man, it's straining on our eyes and body and legs!!
11am: Changed to 2nd gown, outdoor shots at yangmingshan! Poor gab have to carry my heavy long gown and had to proceed from 3rd level to 1st level of Ivy Bride. Photographer Benny pass me the balloons used for photoshoots to free them. No one notice i made a wish before letting the balloons flew off.. haha.. This was too fast to be capture on video and camera. Benny was nice enough to prepare an auto-blowing bubbles, too bad it didnt work at yangmingshan..y??
12-3pm: Proceed to Yangmingshan Black Forest. It was stunning and met many couples there. Im so proud to be the first wearer of the apple-green gown that Kelly Jie (my coordinator and in-charge) designed and custom-made for me. Did i mention i changed gowns in a petrol station?? Its really an experience for me and gab. We have got to be fast enough to change in order not to reveal any.. *scary*
Couples, photographers and passer-by were shocked by my gown. Taiwan people are really friendly, they wished us with blessing and words that touched our hearts. Poor gab again have to hold on to the mirror for MUA,Sherry Jie to style my hair. This was capture in video! Thanks Gabby, the best husband in the world!
I must admit the scenery were marvellous at yangmingshan and yes it was cold..15-16C at that point of time but luckily it didnt rain!! Must be the wishes we made to god came true!
3-4pm: I need to change to another blue gown for the theme at the beach. Thank god there is a toilet near yangmingshan which is big enough for me and Sherry Jie. Changed and had a little break before heading to Danshui. Everyone fall asleep in the van, while i was fighting with zzz monster! Journey was long enough for us to get so tired.. i didnt dare to sleep as afraid my hair n makeup will be messy if i do so...i should have just slept..regretted..haha..
Beach was SO COLD that we shiver and all Ivy Bride's staff laughed. Surprisingly, we were the only couple that could dip into the water and it seems like there is no need to be shy. We just had so much fun there!
The least that i can imagine is changing in public!!! This is scary for me, i have to be extremely fast to change and it seems like its common for brides to do so for their wedding shoots.
4-6pm: The journey from Danshui to the Love Motel we booked was an hour plus! All of them dozed off again! I shall keep this venue a secret at the moment though i love to share so much.
6-8pm: Reached the motel, changed to Red Gown, settled with touch-up and new hairstyle. Gab wore his stunning suit! He looked mature in there! haha.. Had packed meals before we packed up for the 2hrs shot. Manage to perk up a little for next location.
8-10pm: Changed into the lovely pinkish-black gown that i picked earlier. Shots taken near Taipei 101 and the nearby features. My feet gave me problem because of the heels and i did sprain alittle walking up the hills and slopes of many places. Bear with the pain and continue our job since its the last 2 places for us!! *Phew*
Last location is infront of taipei 101 with the big red-letter words "LOVE". Omg, we have to change ourselves in the van!!! Sherry Jie assured me no one can see me from outside but still the fear is there...
10.30-11pm: Reached Ivy Bride with sleepy eyes but fulfilling mission! We couldnt believe its all done!! I believe everyone is damn tired but Ansen, our videographer still insist on taking the last video to be compiled into MV.
11.30pm: Reached hotel, had shower and slept like pigs..tomorrow's another day for editing~
Overall, it was more than 10hours of photo-shoots and we were kept asking each other "our photoshoots are really done". This is really a lifetime experience for the both of us!
