Lots of crap has been displaying its life on me..tat explain the timeframe of my blog from march to july.

what the definition of "Home"?

Home~
a place for no worries
a place of comfort
a nest
a place for harmony and love

or... or was it just a place for shelter?

Been experiencing cinderella's life after all these years and i knew, at least how cinderella feels. Its heartbreaking, its disheartening, its broken dreams, its a path gone wrong. Its black and dark. Am used to it when it hurts but after brainwash by many people and my own fickled mind... i've decided. A decision which will change my entire life as well as his. A decision that we are forced to... a decision of having our own "Home" with juz the 2 of us. Maybe this way, we'll be happier and closer.

Its July, kept pushing eveything apart and thought there will be another day to complete tasks. Im going to push my passion to complete what needs and must be done! Its the Wedding preparation. That's the thing that has caused arguements, disagreements and detests in us and someone, but that doesnt caused he & me to drift apart.

Decided i should continued with what ive started...so everything will be in summary..

Day 5 & 6 - Danshui and Beitou Hot Springs

We didnt really plan where to have fun for the next few days so we explore the maps..LOL
Danshui was the first that came to our minds after they mentioned its a must visit. Took a long jouney as danshui was the last mrt stop.
Lovers Bridge was first thing we saw when we reached. The steps up the bridge made us feel like we were old already. Munch little food there and took a boat to danshui old street. Oh dear, there were lots of stores there!
Bought little gifts and stuff ourselves with food. Gab won a lollipop with the shooting gun game, all shots were perfect score..lol marksman sia!
Next, we went into this museum with lots of strange animals and stuff likethat. Yeah, it was somewhat disgusting and pitiful as well.. took lots of pics in there.. hah..

Beitou Hot Springs was the first thing in my life that i've experienced. We choose private room as public seems kinda weird and scarey..
Only a towel was wrapped on me and there we go jump into the tub that's filled with HOT water! Despite mixture of normal and hot water by gab, the tub still feels hot! A total disaster! Lol~ we waited for a short while before immerced our whole body into it. The after-effect of hot springs really calms one down and it feels like heaven!

Day 7 - Jiu Fen

Planned to go Jiu Fen to look at what are the attractions there.
Despite kelly jie's rest day, she bought tickets to Rui Fang for us beforehand so we could meet her today to visit Jiu Fen. We were taught many times how to go to Jiu Fen by taking train to Rui Fang first..yet we got the wrong train.. LOL.. panicked, we asked around for directions and people told us to get down the train and head to the next correct one which is half an hr later (as indicated, our train schedule is 12pm and we got up at 11.30am). We got on time with the correct train in the end and we have to starve first to enjoy good food at jiu fen.
Met up with kelly jie, she brought us to have "Rou Gen Tang", its heaven!! Pic will be shown below. We got up the bus at ruifang and proceed to Jiu Fen. Oh gosh, the bus was crowded and we were standing at the steps of the entrance of the bus. Never did i know that the bus will travel all the way up the hill!!!

Day 8 - Taipei Zoo
Their zoo were very different from singapore! It's huge!! Not forgetting to mention the journey inside the zoo itself is like going for hiking!
Queued for 20-30mins just to see panda and only one was awake.. sad to say that...Took lotsa photos in there..

Day 9 - Taipei 101
The famous Taipei 101, highest tower. Freezing cold and it was a great experience earned. The views are stunning! Outdoor views were open to public that day and it was amazing but couldn't take nice pics as the weather's too cold..

Day 10 - Departure Day
The day which is both happy and sad for us..
Happy ~ we'll be retrieving our wedding albums and other stuff this day. We're going home, i miss rocky lots!
Sad ~ miss the good food, weather, people and shopping!
Couldn't buy too much stuff as we were afraid our luggages will overload.. and yes indeed it nearly is.. Our luggages were 0.5kg away from the weight allowed.

It's our long-awaited day. It has been 7 and a half year long and this is it.. Our ROM day~
Its ths day 2 Heats joined and transform into kinetic bond.

7th April 2009

We booked The Chevrons for 3 Days 2 Nights Angsana Unit for this special day. The first day was checking in and thank god again for the gracious help of sim who gave us a lift to our destination. Had our lunch at Hans before meeting up with Cm and Lay Kiang at IMM to shop for necessary stuff for the next 2 nights and the Buffet. Beverages and etc were bought and i can't imagine we've gotten so many cartons of drinks and beers..haha.. Of cos the guys got to carry back those heavy stuff while we girls head over for some pampering session which happens to be our first time.
Could have just go ahead and do French Manicure instead.. we just regretted but it's fine for the feel.
Unpack, unload is what we did for the 1st day.. We had some dinner and head to bed quite late for "early night rest" (despit the clock's showing midnite) and prepare for the day's decorations and everything. Woke up before the alarm hits off and start to get Gab's butt off the bed, and the list goes on after Gab woke up...

Make up by Angel Chua was done in an hr plus. Im so guilty to see her perspired so much from the walking distance from her home to The Chevrons... but im glad that she was smiling though.

Am not ashamed that our ROM is simple and so is the dress and etc.. Its the love that counts.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful help, u know who u are! (though my blog will not be noticed)

Everything else is in the videos..

Day 4
18th March 2009 (Wednesday)

Got up late due to the photoshoot the day before. Went to Shilin Night Market and gosh, people were like on holidays, lots of them! We could hardly take our time to visit most of the shops but we managed to squeeze into. Bought a few tops and for both of us and some gifts for family and friends and yes we ate oyster egg there.. The oyster egg that they have certainly was different from us, theirs were sticky and comes in a whole patch! I didnt really like this though.
Before we had our dessert by the road side store, a fight broke out between 2 men. Freak out, they used tools to hit one another's head! They fight just in the middle of shilin night market with many onlookers.
Decided to leave as it was really crowded.. Saw this pushcart selling pets' stuff and bought a leash-top for Rocky, we even took potos with the owner's dog who was sleeping on the pushcart.

The day we have been waiting for and the motive for this trip! Its the photo-shooting day! Well, we were told to be at the bridal studio at 7am, and we have got to be awake by 5am. Was worried the night before so we got ourselves "chicken essence" to perk ourselves up in the morning. Luckily we got up on time and head over to Ivy Bride. The weather's good!! Couldn't remember the exact timing but its roughly there.. hehe

The timetable for the day as at 17th March 2009 (Tuesday):

7am: Reached Ivy Bride with a fresh look
7.15am: Makeup and hairstyling starts. Ampoules, pedicure were all done.
8am: The first gown and suit worn for indoor shots.
8.30am: First encounter with indoor photo-shots and i guess it's nervous in us. Gotten many poses and man, it's straining on our eyes and body and legs!!
11am: Changed to 2nd gown, outdoor shots at yangmingshan! Poor gab have to carry my heavy long gown and had to proceed from 3rd level to 1st level of Ivy Bride. Photographer Benny pass me the balloons used for photoshoots to free them. No one notice i made a wish before letting the balloons flew off.. haha.. This was too fast to be capture on video and camera. Benny was nice enough to prepare an auto-blowing bubbles, too bad it didnt work at yangmingshan..y??
12-3pm: Proceed to Yangmingshan Black Forest. It was stunning and met many couples there. Im so proud to be the first wearer of the apple-green gown that Kelly Jie (my coordinator and in-charge) designed and custom-made for me. Did i mention i changed gowns in a petrol station?? Its really an experience for me and gab. We have got to be fast enough to change in order not to reveal any.. *scary*
Couples, photographers and passer-by were shocked by my gown. Taiwan people are really friendly, they wished us with blessing and words that touched our hearts. Poor gab again have to hold on to the mirror for MUA,Sherry Jie to style my hair. This was capture in video! Thanks Gabby, the best husband in the world!
I must admit the scenery were marvellous at yangmingshan and yes it was cold..15-16C at that point of time but luckily it didnt rain!! Must be the wishes we made to god came true!
3-4pm: I need to change to another blue gown for the theme at the beach. Thank god there is a toilet near yangmingshan which is big enough for me and Sherry Jie. Changed and had a little break before heading to Danshui. Everyone fall asleep in the van, while i was fighting with zzz monster! Journey was long enough for us to get so tired.. i didnt dare to sleep as afraid my hair n makeup will be messy if i do so...i should have just slept..regretted..haha..
Beach was SO COLD that we shiver and all Ivy Bride's staff laughed. Surprisingly, we were the only couple that could dip into the water and it seems like there is no need to be shy. We just had so much fun there!
The least that i can imagine is changing in public!!! This is scary for me, i have to be extremely fast to change and it seems like its common for brides to do so for their wedding shoots.
4-6pm: The journey from Danshui to the Love Motel we booked was an hour plus! All of them dozed off again! I shall keep this venue a secret at the moment though i love to share so much.
6-8pm: Reached the motel, changed to Red Gown, settled with touch-up and new hairstyle. Gab wore his stunning suit! He looked mature in there! haha.. Had packed meals before we packed up for the 2hrs shot. Manage to perk up a little for next location.
8-10pm:
Changed into the lovely pinkish-black gown that i picked earlier. Shots taken near Taipei 101 and the nearby features. My feet gave me problem because of the heels and i did sprain alittle walking up the hills and slopes of many places. Bear with the pain and continue our job since its the last 2 places for us!! *Phew*
Last location is infront of taipei 101 with the big red-letter words "LOVE". Omg, we have to change ourselves in the van!!! Sherry Jie assured me no one can see me from outside but still the fear is there...
10.30-11pm: Reached Ivy Bride with sleepy eyes but fulfilling mission! We couldnt believe its all done!! I believe everyone is damn tired but Ansen, our videographer still insist on taking the last video to be compiled into MV.
11.30pm: Reached hotel, had shower and slept like pigs..tomorrow's another day for editing~

Overall, it was more than 10hours of photo-shoots and we were kept asking each other "our photoshoots are really done". This is really a lifetime experience for the both of us!

Special Thanks To Ivy Bride:

Cindy Jie (coordinator) - for helping us with everything
Kelly Jie (coordinator and in-charge) - for treating us so nice and fed us like pigs (haha)
Joyce Jie (Manager) - for all the work
Feng Ge - for being the nice man who kept
